I have inhabited boardrooms for over twenty five years, as a serial CEO, Chair, Non Executive director and Trustee in the energy, health, financial and professional services sectors in the UK and USA.
My experience has shown that that boards who govern culture well create more economic benefit for investors and are a force for good, enabling a world where people can thrive across society.
As a member of the Lord Mayor’s initiative to restore trust in the City of London, I led a project with the City Values Forum and Tomorrow’s Company on how boards can better govern purpose, values and culture.
In 2015 we published Governing Culture as part of the UK’s Financial Reporting Council’s Culture Coalition.
Leadership
As a senior board advisor, I work with both large complex organisations and founder-led entrepreneurial businesses. A major part of my work is coaching chairmen, Non Executives, CEOs and Directors in leadership.
I advise boards and leaders who are navigating the economic, social and environmental challenges of today and tomorrow. These individuals are making tough strategic decisions that will drive both economic performance and social value.

How I work
Using a range of proven tools and methodologies, I help business leaders and boards find their own vision and create lasting change. This might include facilitating critical discussions at board away days, joining special project teams or as an advisor or leadership coach.
